Boys’ Hockey teams face King’s School
A roundup of the U12 & U13 Boys’ Hockey matches versus King’s School, Macclesfield.
Saturday 28 January – U15 v King’s School, Macclesfield (away)
The U15s encountered a skilful King’s School side but shared great tenacity and commitment and briefly led by a goal to nil. However, the opposition showed their excellence and finally ran out 4-1 winners.
Saturday 28 January – U13 v King’s School, Macclesfield (home)
The U13 team enjoyed a fiercely competitive match against opponents who they narrowly lost to last year. In an even first half, both teams took the lead and at 2-2 at half time, there was little to choose between the two sides.
King’s School appeared to be on course for victory when they once again took the lead but a strike from Adam Sabri, adding to Samuel Berry and Will Marston’s first half goals, saw the school secure a deserved draw.
Saturday 28 January – U12 v King’s School, Macclesfield (home)
The U12 team continue their unbeaten season with a convincing 8-1 win. Four goals from Henry Davies and two each from Solomon Kerfoot-Robson and Tawanda Harris proved how superior our team were.
