Seren goes for Gold
A young skier has won Gold in the Under 14 age category at the Welsh Artificial Slope Ski Championships held in Pontypool.
Seren Kerfoot-Robson won the gold medal after recording the two quickest times at the Championships held on 10 September 2011.
There was a lot to cheer about for pupils at Rydal Penrhos Prep School too as Ben Constantine finished first to become the Welsh Mini Boys Champion, while Keira Bonnington fought off the competition to become the Welsh Mini Girls Champion.
Skiing is one of the many extra-curricular activities available for pupils to participate in throughout the year. Pupils are encouraged to join a sporting team or club to reinforce a sense of belonging to a community, making a difference and coping under pressured circumstances. A wide range of sporting activities are available to choose from including Rugby, Hockey, Golf, Skiing, Kayaking and Sailing.
