New pupil information
The New Pupil Handbook 2011-2012
The New Pupil Handbook contains much of the key information about daily life in school and explains some of the policies and requirements that provide the structure within which staff and pupils live and work at Rydal Penrhos School. It includes a copy of the daily routine. Additional handbooks for boarders are issued at the beginning of the school year.
School uniform
Details about the uniform required can be found in page 30 of the New Pupil Handbook.
The uniform shop is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8.30-10.30am during term time. If you are unable to come during these times, please call the school on 01492 530155 and Mrs Griffiths will make arrangements to meet you at the shop at a convenient time.
2011-2013 term dates
The school term starts on 1 September 2011, but boarders are expected to arrive at their house on 31 August. Click here to read the term dates in full.
The daily routine
The school day begins at 8.30 in the morning and finishes at 5.10 pm in the evening; 4.35 pm on Fridays. There are eight lessons in a day, made up of academic study and enrichment.
