The Library ยป What’s on

Competitions

The library holds many exciting competitions and fundraising events throughout the year. Details of competitions are displayed at the entrace to the library.

Passport to Reading

We have recently launched a reading scheme for year 7 in conjunction with the English Department. The scheme, called ‘Passport to Reading’, involves pupils having their own passport. Each pupil visits different countries of the world, reading two books whilst travelling to each country of their choice. This passport is then stamped and they get a prize for every two books they read.

Book reviews can be read on the Library’s section of the school’s intranet. Please ask for details if you are interested in joining.

The Novel Ideas Club

This is to be reformed by popular demand, whereby pupils of any age can meet in the Library to discuss what they would like to provide for pupils, such as new resources and events.
