Music ยป Courses
Music is taught once a week to pupils in Year 7 and three times a week for GCSE. Higher level courses taken as an extra-curricular opportunity may become available where there is sufficient demand.
There are groups and ensembles pupils can join to develop their musical skills, including the school jazz band, choir, close harmony group, orchestra, dramatic society, as well as inter-house competitions. Ensemble trips take place every year. .
Career choices for students of Music include teaching, composition, performance, journalism, and sound engineering.
