Art & Textiles ยป Courses
All pupils take Art in Key Stage 3, and throughout the three years, they complete different projects, which aim to provide a wide range of skills in a variety of techniques and materials. They are also introduced to artists both past and present. A prize is awarded at the end of each term to a person in each of the KS3 classes for good work, progression, skills or improvement.
In year 10, pupils can opt to take Art or Art/Textiles as a GCSE. Pupils who have a keen interest and show dedication in the subject may also opt to take GCSE Art in year 10 and another GCSE Art/Textiles in year 11.
In the Sixth form, students have the option to take AS/A2 Art or Art/Textiles or IB Visual Art.
